Made with Remo’s unique Acousticon® shell and a pre-tuned drumhead, Remo Renaissance® Frame Drum delivers an earthy tone that is reminiscent of traditional wood shell drums. Available in 12″, 14″, 16” and 22” sizes, all models feature a sleek 2” shell depth (except the 12″ version which has a 2 1/2″ shell) and a warm medium oak finish. The Renaissance head provides a rich tonal character.

How do I play my Renaissance® Frame Drum?

Playing the Renaissance Frame Drum is wonderfully intuitive. Simply strike the drumhead with your hands or a soft mallet to produce deep, resonant tones. You can experiment with finger rolls, slaps, and palm strikes to create a variety of rhythms and textures.

How do I clean my Renaissance® Frame Drum?

To clean, use a soft cloth with a gentle household cleaner – window or multi-surface sprays work well. Avoid abrasives like steel wool. Wipe the outer shell and, if needed, gently clean the interior surfaces. Let the drum dry completely before playing to maintain its sound and integrity.
