This scale was developed in the RAV laboratory. It sounds magical. There are many overlapping overtones in it, which makes the sound so shimmering and bewitching, and all the notes in it are harmoniously combined and emphasize each other. But, of course, it has a special purpose for which it was created.
The key of the instrument is Dm (D minor) and F (F major), and these are the most popular keys among handpans, so the likelihood of finding a jam buddy is maximized.
It contains four low notes that correspond to degrees I, IV, V and VI; these are the tonics of four chords on which a large number of famous compositions are built. The top five notes are ideal accents to decorate these compositions.
All these nine notes are also a solid scale that can be used intuitively without going into all this music theory. In total, you can play popular progressions, consciously or intuitively, and even sing many songs to the accompaniment of RAV Ariumi like a guitar.
