Description
The sound is based on Neptune’s orbit around the sun every 164.9 years. The planet was discovered in 1846 by the astronomer Johann Gottfried Galle after the mathematician Joseph Le Verrier had calculated its position from perturbations in the orbit of Uranus.
In mythology, the Roman Neptune corresponds to the Greek god of the sea Poseidon, whose symbol is the trident, which is also the sign of Shiva, the Hindu deity of dissolution. Astrologically speaking, Neptune stands for the feeling of universal love. It symbolizes empathy, selflessness, hedonism, but also distraction, confusion and escapism from reality.
