What are tuning forks?
Tuning forks are a type of acoustic resonator that produce various frequencies depending on the tuning. They are often used for deep focus and relaxation. Tuning forks are a two-pronged fork with the prongs forming a U-shape from the flexible metal.Weighted tuning forks have small weights attached to the end of the prongs. Weights add mass, which helps to achieve a low frequency without needing very long fork prongs. Weights are more often used with aluminium tuning forks as this is a lighter metal than steel. For example, a 128hz steel tuning fork doesn’t need weights to achieve the desired frequency due to its mass. However, the aluminium 128hz tuning fork does need weights to produce 128hz.
Note: The unweighted tuning fork is just as effective when applied directly on the body as the weighted tuning fork.
How do I use a tuning fork?

What’s the difference between Planetware tuning forks and Jonathan Goldman tuning forks?
